Museum Art Hotel 21c Opening in Nashville

HomeNews hubTravel NewsMuseum Art Hotel 21c Opening in Nashville

The unique and art focused hotel brand 21c will be opening their highly anticipated Nashville location next month! 21c hotels combine a contemporary art museum, boutique hotel, and chef-driven restaurant all under one roof.

Building on its mission of expanding public access to contemporary art and supporting the revitalization of American downtowns, 21c is rehabilitating the historic Gray & Dudley Building in Downtown Nashville near Printer’s Alley. The 1900s era building served as a wholesale hardware warehouse and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Like all 21c properties, it will welcome both visitors and members of the community to enjoy its curated exhibitions and cultural programming. The area is the perfect location for the hotel with a wealth of cultural and entertainment activities within walking distance.

The hotel features 124 guest rooms, including rooftop level suites with terraces overlooking downtown. Designed by Deborah Berke Partners, the guest rooms have wood floors and high ceilings, contemporary furnishings, large windows and luxurious floor to ceiling drapery.

The restaurant will be led by executive chef Chef Levon who promises an eclectic yet comforting menu, featuring market-driven dishes, prepared using high-quality seasonal ingredients sourced from Nashville area producers and craft purveyors.

There is a staggering 10,500+ square feet of contemporary art exhibition and event space which is open to the public 24 hours a day, seven days per week. The museum will open with the inaugural exhibition Truth or Dare: A Reality Show, which will include works by Leo Villareal, Shahzia Sikander, Serkan Özkaya, and Richard Mosse, among others, and site-specific commissions including by Rafael Lozano-Hemmer and Sebastiaan Bremer.
